Just the Jumeirah Hotel (the same chain that owns the 7-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai) has opened the Observation Deck at 300 on tower 2 of the Etihad Towers, the highest.
Climbing up to the Observation Deck at 300 is definitely worth it, from here the view on the city is amazing: the Etihad Towers are right in front of the Emirates Palace and a stone’s throw from the Presidential Palace, and from above you can admire the entire complex with the green gardens and the blue Gulf in the background. The glance is magnificent!
The Etihad Towers are located a stone’s throw from the Abu Dhabi Corniche, so from the Observation Deck at 300 you will enjoy the view of the entire city of Abu Dhabi. Here you will also find a café that serves good cakes, tea or coffee, you could take advantage of it to enjoy a break from the heat of the city, with a view of course.

In my opinion, the best way to appreciate the Etihad Towers is by enjoying a high tea at the Observation Deck.
If you have already seen the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Etihad Towers may seem nothing special to you. The view is impressive, the skyscraper is very beautiful but, what really makes the visit special here is to enjoy the moment.
Sit at a table in the observation deck café and enjoy the moment: you can see the entire city of Abu Dhabi at your feet and you can enjoy some relaxation after a day of sightseeing.
The high tea at the Etihad Towers really deserves, tea and coffee are served with numerous appetizers based on meat, fish and vegetables. Also you must try cakes, sweets and pastries, all delicious!
If you are in a couple, this is one of the experiences that I absolutely recommend you to do in Abu Dhabi, and the price is quite affordable.

The opening hours of the Observation Deck at 300 are from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM, every day of the week.
The afternoon high tea is normally served from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM, however it is necessary to strictly respect the time written on your reservation (after 15 minutes of no-show they give the table to someone else).
How to get to the Etihad Towers
The best Abu Dhabi’s guided tours include a visit to the Etihad Towers (and so you can save on the entrance ticket) and you don’t have to worry about anything because the transport, pick-up and return to your hotel (or to the port if you arrive on a cruise) are included.
If you prefer to visit the city more freely the best solution is the Hop On Hop Off double-decker buses: they have stops near all the main attractions of Abu Dhabi and a stop is right in front of the Etihad Towers.
