My advice is to get the ticket for the complete tour that allows you to visit levels 124 and 125 and the highest observation deck at level 148. The experience of seeing Dubai from the top of Burj Khalifa is worth every single cent of the ticket: you can see as far as the Desert and up to The World Islands.
Now we have to choose which time to visit Burj Khalifa
The best time to visit Burj Khalifa is from 5.00 PM to 8.00 PM in August and from 4.00 PM and 6.00 PM in December. At these times you will be able to enjoy the best view because there is less haze and the sunset light creates a magical atmosphere.
Visiting Burj Khalifa at night is a wonderful experience, but I recommend it only to those who have already seen it at least once in daylight. The view is completely different, with sparkling skyscrapers and lights illuminating the city. Maybe it can be part of a night tour of the city.
Consider that during the peak hours (late morning and late afternoon) Burj Khalifa is very crowded. This means that there are very long queues for tickets and then to the elevators. To avoid the queue at the elevators you can buy a priority ticket (skip the line ticket). Queuing for the ticket doesn’t make sense.

Let’s see what are the ticket prices for the Burj Khalifa At the Top observation deck. All people who want to visit Burj Khalifa must have a ticket for Burj Khalifa At the Top specific for the time they want to go and for the levels they want to visit.
Two types of tickets depending on the levels you want to visit:
